Hello!

Thank you for taking time to visit with us. Feel free to browse through our site and learn about the church. To get you started, here are a few things about our community we affectionately call, "C3."

If there is one thing that characterizes our community and sort of summarizes the whole range of reactions people have to meeting us, it’s this: beyond the warmth of the people who are so accepting when you attend one of our gatherings, aside from the grace extended to you when you step out and ask a question about faith in a small group, behind the soulful evocative music we experience during our Sunday morning gathering that draws us into spiritual focus, there is the unique sense of God’s Presence among us.

Many of us have found our lives profoundly changed by an encounter with this Presence, this touch of God’s love and reality. We have been released from the chains of addictions. We have been healed from the pain of a past life once crippled by poor, self-centered decisions. We have been set free from life-controlling fear and depression. God has transformed us and helped us to become the kind of people we have always wanted to be.

What We Believe

Here are the basics, what you might call our community confessions, our shared beliefs.

We believe...

  • The Scriptures are inspired by God and declare his design and plan for mankind.
  • There is only one true God revealed in three persons... Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity).
  • In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God's son Jesus was both human and divine.
  • Though originally good, man willingly fell to sin ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.
  • Every person can have a restored relationship with God through salvation (accepting Christ's offer of forgiveness for sin).
  • That to be the church means to be a missional community--that is, God has called us together to send us out. Specifically, we believe God wants us to help people find real life through a genuine encounter with Him.
  • In the second coming of Christ.
  • There will be a final judgment for those who have rejected Christ.
  • And look forward to the perfect new heavens and a new earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him.
