Tim Kirby, Lead Pastor

A native of northern Virginia, Tim has served as lead pastor of C3 since its inception in 2000. Tim graduated from George Mason University and went on to get a Masters of Divinity from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

Tim and his wife, Evelyn, have a son, Timothy and a very energetic, flat-coated retriever named Jake. In his spare time, Tim enjoys fly fishing, fly tying, reading, and motorcycles…okay…specifically Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Tim serves the community as a chaplain for the Honor Bound Motorcycle Ministry and also serves on the board of directors of Cutting Edge Ministries, a local church, campus based, youth outreach to the public schools of Northern Virginia.

“I love the church, the local body of Christ followers coming together to meet with God and encourage one another. I believe it is the primary means through which God wraps his arms around a community to love and redeem it. We are discovering new ways to be used for this purpose in Centreville as God leads us and reveals his path for us. And as God causes this new church to emerge and take shape for a new kind of world I want to be right in the middle of what He’s doing.”
